“Human Resources: Working With, Through, and Around During Your Job Search”

While there may be a lot of advice about how to deal with the Human Resources function during a job search, there is no “one size fits all” strategy. Larry Stybel, a licensed doctoral level psychologist and a national expert on leadership, will moderate a distinguished panel of human resources professionals who will address effective strategies to engage with HR during your search.

MODERATOR

Larry Stybel helps companies seeking to grow without destroying greatness through three services: retained search, leadership succession/development, and leadership outplacement.  He is a licensed doctoral level psychologist, co-founder of two companies, and national expert on leadership.  He co-authored NAVIGATING THE WATERFALL, a guide to leadership and career management in the 21st Century.  Amazon.com ranks it 13th percentile in book sales among its 1.8 million titles.  Larry and his partner Maryanne Peabody write monthly perspectives on leadership for PSYCHOLOGY TODAY.  To date there have been 240,000 downloads. He is a member of the FEI Boston Career Committee and the 2017 winner of the Marquis Award for his lasting contributions to leadership.  Larry is listed in Marquis WHO'S WHO IN BUSINESS AND FINANCE and MARQUIS WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA.  He teaches leadership at the Northeastern University's D'Amore Mckim School of Business.
